The Queensland Government has invested millions of dollars in the Redlands to enhance the local lifestyle, and this was among the topics for discussion during the recent Community Cabinet, led by Premier Steven Miles and Ministers.

Investment includes delivering record cost-of-living relief, better healthcare services closer to home, a plan for more connected public transport, building more affordable housing and supporting renters, and new programs to keep the community safe like new policing initiatives.

The Queensland Government also unveiled a future expansion plan for the Brisbane Metro, including a long-term plan for 22 new stations and stops. A rapid detailed business case will determine the feasibility of expanding several directions including east to Capalaba.

There were 305 residents registered for the Town Hall meeting and 69 registrations for one-to-one deputations to meet with the Premier and Ministers to discuss local priorities and opportunities for the region.

Thank you Redlands!
