Peter Hegarty
Mr Hegarty was born in Cherbourg and served in the Army for six years, nine months of which he spent with the Royal Australian Engineers in Vietnam. He talks about his experiences and tasks in the Vietnam War and how the Australian public treated the returning soldiers after the end of the Vietnam War.
