Early childhood services census

The Early Childhood Education and Care Services Census is a yearly collection of data from Queensland’s early childhood education and care (ECEC) sector.

The data is used to report on and inform ECEC government initiatives and program developments.

It can also help communities and services to determine the characteristics of early childhood education and care in Queensland.

The census includes all Queensland Government approved ECEC services, including family day care, school aged care, and Kindergarten in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
