Minor Injury and Illness Clinic

The Minor Injury and Illness Clinic can be accessed for walk-in, urgent care for illnesses and injuries not anticipated to be life-threatening in nature, such as simple fractures, simple infections, toothache, minor burns and minor head injuries.

The Minor Injury and Illness Clinic operates from 8am to 10pm, 7 days a week.

• outpatient medical services
• nursing and allied health services.

Moodoombar Dabbil

The Ripley Satellite Hospital has been co-named Moodoombar Dabbil, following consultation with local Aboriginal peoples.

Moodoombar Dabbil means ‘Good Water’ in Yagara language and symbolises health, healing, wellness and care.

The Queensland Government recognises the special relationship that Aboriginal peoples and Torres Strait Islander peoples have with the land and natural resources. As part of the Satellite Hospital Program, Queensland Health committed to working with Traditional Owner groups to facilitate the implementation of the Queensland Government’s Strategy for Naming and Co-naming of public buildings and facilities.
