Introduction to mediation skills – level 1
New accreditation standards released
The Australian mediator and dispute resolution accreditation standards (AMDRAS) will soon replace the National mediator accreditation system. We will transition to AMDRAS between 1 July 2024 and 1 July 2025. During the transition, we will update this page to reflect the new standards.
An interactive 5-day course that gives you the knowledge and skills to develop as a mediator, Introduction to mediation skills—level 1 also provides useful skills for other situations.
You will learn about the theory and practice of facilitative mediation and interpersonal conflict management and build your competence, confidence and communication skills.
This course is a prerequisite to Mediation Level 2—Developing mediation skills and accreditation—level 2.

Cost
